I don’t think there is a woman alive who hasn’t asked the question- how do I attract a guy?  How can you really attract a guy who will love you deeply?  Well the first thing is to realise this…

Realise this, it’s easy to attract a guy, there are plenty of guys where you really only have to be a woman in order for them to be interested in you.  So they are easy.  But if you’re asking me how to attract a great guy, a nice guy, a guy who will commit- now you’re asking me a harder question.  Because what will attract a great guy to you isn’t going to be the same things that will attract any guy who happens to like any woman.

Now there are 3 things that I know are big factors in attracting a guy- I’ll talk about the first most obvious one here.

Is less more?

You know that saying less=more?  It’s telling us that instead of piling on too many ingredients into one dish which is going to spoil the flavour of the food, just use a couple to bring out the flavour.  It’s telling us that instead of decorating your room with stripes, checks, dots, and all the wild colours you can think of – or wearing the clashing colours and styles that Ugly Betty wears- in the program Ugly Betty, pare it all down and it will give a better impression, taste better, and look better.

But when it comes to men, and the fashion trends at the moment, less clothing is definitely not more.

Now I know I am going to step on a few toes here, but how you dress, really is the obvious way some women use to attract a guy, and there are books upon books that tell you how to dress sexily or hint that you should dress sexily.  But I say no.

Showing lots of flesh will of course attracts men but that man wouldn’t necessarily be someone you’d want to attract.  Unfortunately showing lots of flesh, sends out the wrong message to some guys about who you are and what you’re after, because if the guy likes a woman to dress in a certain way- ie by showing a lot of flesh, then he’s not likely going to be the kind of guy who has marriage and babies on his agenda.

But there are things you can do, to attract guys, using what I call physical weapons of attraction, but relying exclusively on them, doesn’t do you justice, and can backfire if you are looking to settle down.  And if you only use this form of attraction, not only will it make it more difficult to attract the right guy, but you will end up in a series of short term dead end relationships.

In saying that, let’s get on with exploring what these physical weapons of attraction are.

So here it is- your physical weapons of attraction

1.  Your smile

Did you know that you have more than one smile- a smile that says you’re available.  One that says you’re so not.  Another that says I want to see you again, or another that says I just see you as a friend and there are more?

So if you want to attract a guy, practice the message that you send in your smile.

2.   Your eyes

Just like your smile you can send out subtle and not so subtle messages to guys that can have them buzzing round you like bees to honey and it’s with how you use your eyes or the kind of eye contact you give.

And like your smile you have numerous ways to use your eyes to tell someone you’re interested in them, you are not, you’re available, or you find him attractive.  Or that you’re confident, you’re nervous- you get my meaning.

Now using your eyes is powerful- so use it with care.

3.         Your touch

The last physical weapon of attraction you can use are your hands.  How you touch a guy says so much.  You can touch him which tells him you’re just friends, or you find him attractive, desirable, or you want him to ask you out.  And it’s not just your hands it’s how you use your fingers- because the tip of your fingers can tell a guy more than your words can say in some cases, if you know how.

So again, think about how you touch a guy, from the brush on his arm to the shake of his hand, think about what message you want to convey and again be careful because the sense of touch to some guys is irresistible.
